Beyond Movers Term & Conditions
- Acceptance of Terms
By accessing our website, requesting a quote, or booking services with Beyond Movers (“we”, “us”, “our”), you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, you must not proceed with our services.
These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between Beyond Movers and the client (“you”, “your”).
- Services
Beyond Movers provides residential and commercial relocation services, including:
- Local Moves (hourly rate)
- Interstate and long-distance moves (volume-based pricing)
- Packing and unpacking services (where selected)
- Basic furniture disassembly and reassembly (where included)
Service inclusions and pricing are detailed in your written quote.
- Quotes & PricingEstimates
Quotes are based on information provided by the client. Inaccurate or incomplete information may result in additional charges.
Local Moves- Charged hourly unless expressly stated as fixed price.
- Minimum charge: 2 hours.
- Billed in 30-minute increments.
- Time commences upon crew arrival and concludes when unloading is complete.
Long-Distance / Interstate Moves- Quoted based on reserved cubic metre volume.
- If actual volume exceeds the reserved amount, additional charges apply.
- Deposit may be required to secure booking.
- Payment TermsLocal Moves
For Local Moves, full payment is due immediately upon completion of the services on the day of the move.
Interstate MovesFor Interstate Moves, full payment is required upon completion of the loading phase of the move, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Accepted Payment MethodsBeyond Movers accepts the following payment methods:
- Bank Transfer
- Visa
- Mastercard
- American Express
A 1.8% surcharge applies to all card payments, including credit and debit cards. Payments made via electronic bank transfer do not incur any surcharge. Cash payments are not accepted.
A tax invoice and receipt will be issued electronically following confirmation of payment.
- Bank Transfer Requirements
Where payment is made by bank transfer on the day of service:
- The client must provide proof of transfer (such as screenshot or banking confirmation receipt) prior to the removalists departing the job site.
- The client remains responsible for payment until funds have been received and cleared in the Beyond Movers nominated account.
- Card Authorizations
If a valid credit or debit card has been provided at the time of booking, the client authorizes Beyond Movers to charge the card for all outstanding amounts relating to the service provided, including any applicable additional charges, in order to finalize payment.
- Short-Notice Bookings
For bookings made three (3) days or less before the scheduled service date, Beyond Movers reserves the right to require full payment in advance of service delivery.
- Recovery of Outstanding Amounts
If payment remains outstanding after it becomes due, Beyond Movers may take reasonable steps to recover the debt. The client agrees to reimburse Beyond Movers for reasonable costs actually incurred in recovering unpaid amounts including:
- Debt collection agency fees
- Legal costs on a solicitor/client basis
- Court filing and enforcement fees
- Process server fees
This clause does not limit any other rights or remedies available under applicable law.
- Cancellations – Local MovesMore Than Two (2) Hours Before Start Time
A Local Move may be cancelled up to two (2) hours prior to the scheduled commencement time. In this case, any deposit or booking fee paid will be refunded in full.
Late Cancellations or Non-AttendanceIf a cancellation is made within two (2) hours of the scheduled start time, or if the client fails to be present at the agreed location, reservation fees will not be refunded.
If a valid credit or debit card has been provided at the time of booking, the client authorizes Beyond Movers to charge the applicable cancellation fee to that payment method.

Cancellations submitted after 9:00pm for a move scheduled to commence the following day may be treated as late cancellations and may incur the applicable cancellation fee.
- Client Responsibilities
You agree to:
- Provide accurate details regarding volume and access.
- Ensure items are properly packed unless packing services are booked.
- Disclose fragile, valuable, or specialty items in advance.
Additional charges may apply if the scope of work differs from the original booking.
- Access & Delays
Additional time charges may apply where delays occur due to:
- Limited or restricted access
- Stairs or lift delays
- Parking limitations
- Client not being ready at scheduled time
We are not responsible for delays caused by traffic, weather, road closures, or regulatory requirements.
- Damage & LiabilityAccidental Damage
Limited accidental damage protection may apply depending on service level selected. Exclusions may include item not professionally packed, fragile goods, flat-pack furniture, pre-existing damage, and items inherently susceptible to damage.
Limitation of LiabilityTo the extent permitted by Australian Consumer Law, Beyond Movers’ liability is limited to repair, replacement, or reasonable compensation at our discretion.
Nothing in these Terms excludes statutory consumer guarantees that cannot legally be excluded.
- Refusal of Service
We reserve the right to refuse to move items that:
- Pose safety risks
- Are hazardous or illegal
- Risk damage to persons or property
- Are improperly packed
We may also refuse service if the site is unsafe.
- Third-Party Contractors
Beyond Movers may engage subcontractors. All contractors are required to maintain appropriate public liability insurance.
- Toll Roads & Additional Costs
Toll fees, parking fines (if caused by lack of client arrangements), and other transport-related costs are payable by the client.
- Dispute Resolution
Any dispute must be raised in writing within a reasonable time after the move. We will attempt to resolve disputes in good faith before any legal proceedings.
- Force Majeure
Beyond Movers is not liable for failure or delay in performance caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including natural disasters, severe weather, accidents, government restrictions, industrial action, road closures, and pandemic-related disruptions. In such cases, services may be rescheduled without liability.
- Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Australia and the state in which the service is provided.
- Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms at any time. The version published on our website at the time of booking applies.
